The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad discussed the doctoral thesis entitled (Special exercises in station style and their effect on some physical and motor abilities and offensive skills of basketball players on 3 3 under 18 years), by the student (Haneen Safaa Salman).
The study aimed to design tests (jump shooting, receiving, ending with a lay-up shot, free throw, agility) for female basketball players on 3 on 3 under 18 years of age), preparing a special statistics sheet for basketball 3on3, and preparing special exercises using the stations method in developing some physical and motor abilities and offensive skills for female players under the age of 18, as well as identifying its impact on developing the general performance level of female basketball players on 3 3 under 18 years.
The study came out with a number of results and recommendations, the most important of which is the contribution of exercises in the interlocking station style to developing explosive power and endurance strength characterized by speed and ability of the legs and arms, in addition to its work on developing performance endurance, speed and agility, in addition to its contribution to creating interaction, harmony and high motivation for 3on3 basketball players aged under 18. year because of the diversity in performance and overlap in exercises, so the study recommends emphasizing taking into account the scientific foundations when developing and preparing station-style exercises in terms of intensity, volume, and comfort, because of its important impact in developing functional, skill, and physical capabilities, using various Read & React exercises that meet the requirements, the tactical and playing style of the game of 3on3 basketball, which contributes effectively to improving the overall performance level of female players, requiring serious attention from coaches in using skill and physical exercises to develop the playing style and the tactical aspect in their training for female 3on3 basketball players.
In conclusion, this study achieves the sustainable development goals of good health, well-being, good education, and partnership to achieve the goals.
